Anxiety

This is a problem which is underlying in most people, but doesn’t seem to be spoken about very much, and a lot of people believe this should change. So, in this article I want to discuss it, and discuss some ways to overcome the dreaded anxiety.

Anxiety is defined as a feeling of unease, like worry or fear but I know, as well as people who suffer with anxiety can relate to it feeling much more than this, as it feels like you are trapped with your thoughts and you find it hard to have fun, it is horrible and can easily turn you into a fearful individual, but you can try to get out of this repetitive cycle; by taking deep breaths and spending as much time as possible with friends and family to try and take your mind off of it.

In addition, there are a lot of ways to help yourself cope with anxiety, this includes revealing your emotions/feelings to someone who is trustworthy, this could mean maybe a teacher or a family member, or if you are not confident enough to do this, then you can get your thoughts and feelings of your chest by keeping a diary, it doesn’t matter how old you are, no one can judge you on your journey to happiness, everyone needs to talk about their emotions to become cheerful again.

As well as this, you could do other things which can make you think/focus on something else or doing something you enjoy like listening to music, so your thoughts are being shut out. Finally, you can also just keep up a healthy diet and carry out regular exercise so the toxins in your body can escape, just try to surround yourself with as much happiness as possible.

Furthermore, if you’ve tried this then there is ways which other professional people can help as you can go to the doctor, who may prescribe you with medication to help you stay content, or join a support group so you can relate to people with the same problems as you. Lastly, the most important thing you need to remember is you are surrounded by loved ones, and just talk, that’s the most important way to overcome anxiety remembering that so many people have the same problem as you, you CAN do this, have faith in yourself.
