On Wednesday 22nd February, the prestigious 39th annual Brit Awards were held. The event was attended by numerous stars including Maisie Williams, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora and Liam Payne and were presented by Dermott O'Leary and Emma Willis. Although there were such an abundance of celebrities, one highlight of the evening was the opening act; girl band Little Mix opened the show amazingly and wowed the crowd with their vocals. The four-piece band sang their hit song 'Shout Out to My Ex' and fens went crazy on social media, creating even more of a buzz.
Other performers included Emeli Sande, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Robbie Williams but one surprising collaborative performance shocked everyone - Ed Sheeran sang his newest songs 'Castle On The Hill' and 'Shape Of You'. However, during 'Shape Of You', the rapper Stormzy came on stage to add a verse of rap. The unlikely duo's energetic and enthralling performance captivated everyone and with an official version being released, fans will be over the moon.
