The first month of 2017 is over already.  What have you achieved this month?  As each month comes to a close, it sends us a step closer to the future.  The year before us awaits and there is much to be done.  However, time flies and before we all know it, 2018 will be dawning upon us.  Scary isn’t it?  That time moves so quickly…

Primary schools in Bromley have been encouraging pupils to make new years resolutions so that they can plan what they want to accomplish in the year to come.  Alice, a year two student stated ‘I want to make more friends this year and be nicer to people’.  Little by little, many are trying to change the way they see people.  The fact that primary schools encourage such scheme shows that no matter what age, there are things that can be better.  The new year means something different to everyone, so what have you planned this year?

2017 is not going to be an easy year.  This year, students in Year 11 and below will be participating in the new GCSEs which many have said will be harder as they are gradually changing into the old O-Levels.  Secondary schools are finding it hard to adapt to these changes as there have not been any past papers released, therefore it is hard to fathom what the new GCSEs will hold.

This year will be filled with changes, not just for the United Kingdom, but for many other countries around the world.  There are not only people in the UK who need help.  There are billions world wide who would appreciate the help of you.  I’m sure many would agree that even though you may not be able to help very much, every person who volunteers to help counts.  What have you got planned for 2017?
