Fantastic beast as the name implies is a fantastic, graphical, magical movie. Starring a very well-known and brilliant actor Eddie Redmayne, who is mostly known as playing Steven Hawking’s in the Theory of Everything; where he portrayed him very beautifully. The other actors and actresses are Katherine Waterston (Tina), Alison Sudol (Queenie) and Dan Folger (Jacob).

This movie is based off the story of Harry Potter with the main character Newt who was expelled from Hogwarts. But J.K. Rowling adds a spin to her normal story style; used in Harry Potter. She her character in the 1920’s,where Newt Scamander travels on an ocean liner to the city of New York; when he enters the city he has with him this briefcase which is the main focus of the movie. The case is full of different, rare fantastic beast and creatures.

Unlike the other Harry Potter books and films, Fantastic Beast and Where to find them isn’t actually a book. It is a screenplay that J.K Rowling wrote after looking deeper into her first book in the series “Philosophers Stone” reference was made to this Handbook” Fantastic Beast” that the students of Hogwarts needed. So instead of writing a book from scratch; she had the foundation of this handbook which was actually written by Newt Scamander.

I absolutely enjoyed this movie even though I haven’t watched the Harry Potter movies ( I know crazy) I really think that Fantastic Beast and where to find them is a brilliant movie on its own as well a continuation of Harry Potter.
