Drugs are commonly associated with teenagers, so we have heard. But is ever thought about how or why teens do drugs or even take them into consideration?

Earlier today, 3 teenagers (2 female, 1 male) around the age of 16/17 were enjoying the nice sunny weather in Chalfont St Peter when they were approached by a male teen who appeared to be of the same age, and were offered drugs; specifically cannabis. The three friends declined and watched the young male enter the passenger side of a car and drive away.

It seems that young teens are attracted by the wrong types of people and are lured into drug dealing as a "easy" way to make money. People of this age need to be educated properly and must be taught the effects of taking such actions. Schools and colleges should spend a lot more time emphasisng the dangers of the world and how associating with certain people and substances can have a major effect on the child's life.

After questioning the three teenagers that had this negative experience today, it was revealed that they saw this car drive away but soon returned to the same area after a few minutes. The teens felt nervous so they left the spot they were sitting at and decided to walk to somewhere they felt more safe.

The registartion of the car has been taken down and has been reported to the police.

Ensure you are teaching your children about the dangers of the world and how signifcant it is to avoid things such as drugs.
