Trunk boutique has expanded, it was located in a small shop in Chalfont St Peter but on Thursday 13th October 2016 it moved to a bigger location on the high street.

Trunk boutique originally started off as an online fashion range in 2012, mostly sold through school fairs and similar outlets. Then the owner, Mrs Butler a local resident, ventured into a small shop on the high street. This shop was located on Lower Road next to a butchers and opposite the exit of the new Cooperative which was previously a Budgens. This proved to  be very successful in selling women’s clothing and some jewellery and accessories like bags and scarfs, so much so that Mrs Butler decided to expand further.

Trunk boutique has now moved to a bigger shop located on the main high street allowing room to sell more gifts and home decorations as well as the clothes, accessories and jewellery that they used to sell.

This is a unique shop and on their website they say that they have “exciting ranges to suit all” they also “only buy a small number of each garment we can ensure that we have a constantly changing stock”. As they are a unique and independent shop it is “unlikely that you'll see anyone else wearing your garment on the high street.”

So far it has proved to be a good decision to move premises as it is more central in the village and benefits form passing trade. Trunk boutique is a popular clothes shop with many loyal and happy customers due to their huge selection of clothing accessories and their welcoming shop.
