Diet is a very important part of our lives, as without it, we cannot live long enough. As you become older, your metabolism and digestive system slows down, therefore a healthy and cheap diet is needed. This need has now been fulfilled by the performing production, by setting up an event on the: 22nd and 28th of  February; 7th , 14th and 21st of March at 4.30pm-6.30pm.

This course is of 5 sessions of diet and purchasing advice with cookery lessons, getting parents and children to have fun cooking together for free! It is taking place at the Central Library of Islington. The organisation that has prepared this free event states the residents can: “learn how to cook delicious and healthy meals with your family”, “bring the family closer by sharing good times in the kitchen”, and for shopping: “know what to avoid and why! Adventurous purchasing”.

Performing Production CIC is a non-profit organisation, aiming to build and develop a healthy and creative community! The company was established in early 2014 in the London Borough of Islington and have been putting on theatre shows at Camden Fringe, featuring world-known auditioned cast.

They also run Drama classes for children aged 3-10 years old and Film Making courses for younger determined adults. Each class is taught by great, respected arts professionals, including: a BAFTA (British Academy Film Award) nominee, Royal Albert Hall Director and an international Drama teacher.

Many local residents are thrilled to have such an event, that benefit them in several ways and includes no fee. Thanks to these organisations, Islington is becoming an improved borough, that brings the people of it, closer together.
