Heaven on Earth
2014!!!! This was the year when snow last fell on the UK’s floor and made England’s surface white. It’s been 4 years since it last snowed in the UK and for many kids that was very disappointing. However after 4 long years, the kids no longer need to wait as the snow has fallen once again. However it has fallen at an odd time. IN SPRING!!!!
In many countries it usually snows in December and January; however in 2018 the snow has decided to land at the end of February and in spring. For children they will describe this as heaven on Earth as many schools have been closed due to the adverse weather conditions.
Many schools have closed due the high chances of many accidents occurring such as, slips, falls and many other severe injuries. The schools would rather the children remain safe and allow them to stay home for one day. For kids this, anytime they get a day off is special for them. It’s like a dream come true.
However some schools are still open and allow students to come. In these schools that are open, many of the staff has decided to have snowball fights with the students as they want the children to enjoy the snow while it lasts. Not only in schools but in many parks children have snowball fights with their friends and they enjoy themselves while the snow is still upon them.
In spring it is never likely to snow. However as it has snowed this year in spring, it goes to show that anything can happen at any time and anything is possible. And for the kids they should enjoy themselves in the snow while they can and while it lasts
