On the 27th of February unpredicted snow arrived far from the north. It travelled towards the east of England and left hundreds of homes without power and 16inchs of snow drifts across Britain. This has caused schools to shut as no public and school transport is available.

Roads across the UK have treacherous driving conditions causing blocked roads and delayed routes. Freezing temperatures have been recorded in some places with the minimum being -5 degrees and the summits having lows of -8 degrees.

Yellow and amber weather warnings for snow and ice have been in place for the majority of the country where snow is imminent at all times.

This weather is too said to be continued until Friday throughout Eastern London and Kent. This treacherous weather is bringing problems to east London citizens as many accidents are reported and it causes parents to stay home isolated with their children due to many schools shut due to the harsh conditions.

News forecast has also predicted that the temperatures for the following days will be -1 which also means no school and plenty of traffic for the upcoming days.
