This week a rapist was put behind bars after two counts of rape. The man called Papis Cante is likely to be deported to Portugal after he raped two women in their early 20’s within weeks of each other. He is now permanently on the sex offenders’ register.

After a conversation was started with the vulnerable girl, he took her near his home with him. The first women pleaded with an Uber driver to go a different way but Papis refused to let the young girl The kitchen porter then raped the girl in an alleyway near his home in Finsbury park in north London.

Nearly a month on, in August, the father of one met his second victim in the tube, offering to take her home safely. He then continued to do the same to her as he did to his last victim. Witnesses were told that they were drunk and that they were being taken care of by him.

In October Papis admitted two counts of rape. The 36 year old was sentenced to ten years in prison in Wood Green court on Friday. and the jury claimed that he will be serving at least two thirds if the sentence given him.
