10 best things to do during the Christmas holidays in London.

1)    Meet Santa Claus with your children at the Royal Albert Hall. This is a one hour experience in which your children will have a Christmas to be remembered! They’ll be able to speak to Santa in his grotto filled with gifts! Also, they’ll join a quest to help Santa fly his sleigh! Children are guaranteed to have the best time.
2)    Feast your eyes on the wonderful Christmas lights in London’s well known Oxford Street. The best time to visit this place is at night as they’ll stand out and shimmer in the skies.
3)    Have an amazing time at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland (one of my previous articles give more detail about this event). It is suitable for all age groups and is a memorable experience for the while family. 
4)    Spot children’s favourite characters at Hamley’s Christmas Toy Parade, this event is mainly recommended for younger children as it’ sin a toy store which children’s characters.
5)    View the spectacular Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square with family and friends in which you can sing along with people to carols!This Is Local London:
6)    Be captivated by The Nutcracker performed live at the Royal Opera House, great for the whole family!
7)    Go ice skating around the beautiful Christmas tree at the Natural History Museum.
8)    Go on an open bus tour to view the sparkling Christmas lights at night on Christmas Day, for people of all ages as everyone is guaranteed to have an amazing time.
9)    Watch people race for the Peter Pan Cup in the morning at 9am on Christmas Day. This event has been held since 1864. Only members can join in with the race as it’d be freezing to go into ice cold water in the morning!
10)Eat at the best restaurants in Chinatown on Christmas Day. Bring along your family and friends and eat well!
