Youth over time 21st century youth have become more focused and addicted on gadgets which has narrowed their ability of thinking. It is also reframing them from general communication and socializing in their daily life.

Mr. Abbas a father of two children said “There is a huge difference between their period of youth and the 21st century youth” also narrating that, “My children are addicted to their video games, TV and phones that there is a lack of interaction between the families”. Children do not set themselves any goals and objectives. They do have a relaxed attitude towards work and studies. Parents could help in counselling their children by setting goals for their lives and helping them achieving those goals. This is a continuous process whereby parents can monitor their children. As per few parents they feel that engaging the children into various activities such as sports, public speaking, art and craft would help them come out of their gadget life and become more active, creative and sociable.

Mrs. Mariam also briefed us when explaining that “I have formed a daily routine plan which includes studying, reading, sports, home chores and games which she feels helps her child in all the fields”.

Also during puberty, children’s hormones develop which cause tiredness and laziness which results in a lack of control of their body. Scientific research provides information on how eating habits, socializing skills change during this time period. This is the period when children don’t feel like listening to any advice, this at times causes children to go into bad habits and arguments. Parents at this period of time could be friends to their children and try to get a solution for any problems they have.
