The Lamborghini Veneno, a car of which only 4 were built, left London on Friday the 6th of January.  It was brought to London as the dealer, HR Owen Lamborghini, wanted a showstopper for their annual Christmas party, at Hyde London. The car has been at the dealership since the beginning of December.

The Lamborghini Veneno was built to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Lamborghini, back in 2014. Only 3 customer cars were built. The owner of chassis number 2 is Kris Singh: an American managing director of an investment firm. He is thought to be worth around £200 million. Chassis number to went to the owner of Lamborghini Long Island, Antoine Dominic, who also has a net worth of £200 million. The owner of chassis number 4 remains a mystery, and only the top Lamborghini officials know its location. It is thought to be somewhere in the United Arab Emirates. Chassis number 1 has been kept by Lamborghini, and was the one at the dealer.

The Veneno is a striking car. As soon as you walk into the dealer to see it, you are captivated by its enormous size. The car is as wide as a double decker bus, and as long as a people carrier! Its design resembles a spaceship, and has subtle reminders of the Lamborghini Aventador, the car on which it is based. Having a good relationship with the dealer, I was let passed the ropes to take some closer shots. I was even kindly allowed sit inside it!

The Veneno was worth £2 million when it came out in 2014, but now, it is rumoured to be worth around £6 million. Even, while I was there, people were requesting to buy it!

I’m sure every petrolhead has enjoyed seeing the Veneno, but now we shall all have a Veneno shaped hole in our lives.
