Cake tastes better together…

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s association held it’s annual coffee morning in Mitcham on the 8th October 2017 in union with Mac Millan; Britain’s largest cancer support organisation, founded by Douglas Macmillan in 1911, has helped hundreds of thousands of people get through cancer.

The coffee morning was organised by local dedicated volunteers who happily donated food, money and time to support this organisation in helping humanity. Members of the Muslim women’s association held many stalls such as, henna, cultural foods, games, cakes and much more. The community members were delighted to raise over £800 for this good cause.

One of the respected guests was Zoe Penne. She was mind-blown by the amazing work carried out by these women and felt very honored to be invited to attend this annual event. The head of Mitcham women’s association, Umbreen Butt said ‘we aim to not blank out a single opportunity to help humanity, this is what Islam has taught us, and this is what we believe in. Love For All, Hatred For None’.
