This Is Local London: Hyde Park is located in the heart of London. It is one of the royal parks which covers 142 hectares. Activities and events take place often and it is a wonderful place to go to.

On Friday 17th November 2017 – Monday 1st January 2018, an event called Winter Wonderland is going to take place. This is a festive funfair, mostly based on Christmas. It is a memorable experience for people of all ages, as there are rides, street markets, a circus and many more including performances on ice such as The Nutcracker and Cinderella.

Rides

There is a variety of rides in Winter Wonderland, from slow for the young children to thrilling for the adolescents. The Munich Looping is the world’s largest transportable roller coaster and it’s back to this event once again. There are many other rollercoasters such as the Christmas Coaster, Ice Mountain and Wilde Maus XXL.This Is Local London:

Food and Drink

The largest food place in Winter Wonderland is Bavarian Village. There are many different types of food and beverages including mulled wine and beer for the adults or hot chocolate for the people that would rather have a non alcoholic, warm, sweet drink. Live music is performed and DJs and oompah bands are included.

The Fire Pit is also a food place in this event. It allows you to toast marshmallows, just like a camp fire and it is best for family and friend gatherings. There is a 70s themed band which you can sing along to. Churros are also sold and they’re delicious and mouth watering!This Is Local London:

Risks

On top of all the positives of Winter Wonderland, there are also a few risks that people might need to look out for. First risk is that there is a very large amount of people and children could easily get lost. Kids should be supervised and looked out for at all times.

Overall, Winter Wonderland is an unforgettable experience for all ages and should definitely be on your schedule!
