A Divine Journey

Quite a lot of experiences are forgotten by people within the dwells of their daily jobs. A temple in a peaceful rural setting in the south west of Wales, which encapsulates the tranquillity of nature and one of the most spectacular constructions in time. This was truly a mesmerising premise to visit. This particular temple is called SkandaVale, which translates to “Lord Murugan’s home” (A Hindu Deity). This temple promotes all major religions making it a united place for all worshipers and tourists, who come to visit occasionally once in a while. And the priests are catholic who chant both Hindu and Christian hymns to praise the lord and offer the rituals.

Quite a lot of devotees, who visit SkandaVale describe their experiences to be; ‘Truly affected by the aura of fascination, joy and reverence.’ A tourist there said; ‘Nothing in the world could satisfy the unique warmth and the vitality of the original.’

In addition to this, this place was founded by a guru by the name of Sri Subramanium. This temple dates all the way back during end of the Second World War. It was founded in summer 1973. This place was originally a farmhouse, but in the gradual process in building this temple, small nucleuses of devotees were attracted within the locality. The temple was actually constructed by the wish of the lord. This is what makes this remote temple stand out from the rest.

The landscape that surrounds this premise truly rekindles our connection with the divine as manifested in the elements. This place supports outdoor hiking with the surroundings it has the place feels quite adventurous to explore as well as quite relaxing to enjoy the nature. This place has the feel of an ancient and powerful pilgrimage site, where you can become immersed in the formless nature of the Divine. If you make an effort to quiet your mind and tap into this power, you can begin to catch a glimpse of something truly vast – a realm beyond human thought and comprehension… The Infinite.
