FORTHCOMING EVENTS IN ESSEX

“Fun to be had!”

This month in Essex there are many exciting events which will be enjoyable for family and friends! I will select the best upcoming events which will ensure that you have an insight into the fun  that’s waiting for you!

ST JOHNS CHURCH LOUGHTON BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS

This event will be occurring on Saturday 4th of November. It is a fireworks  display which will be celebrating  Bonfire night! The gates open at 6pm and close at 9pm. The bonfire happens at 6:45pm and the fireworks at 7pm. Barbecue and refreshments will be on site, so expect to be greeted by sizzling sausages! For children the price is £3, Adults £6 and Family £15 (2 adults + 3 children)

RANGERS ROAD CHINGFORD EXHIBITION

Do you love natures beauty? Well this event will be for you! It occurs from the 4th November to Sunday 3rd  December. This event will be exhibiting  majestic water colour and acrylic paintings of nature painted by Peter Edmonds and Sylvia Cottrell. The times of this event are from 10am to 5pm and there is no booking or cost required.

QUEEN ELIZABETHS HUNTING LODGE CHINGFORD BLACK TUDORS: THE UNTOLD STORY

This knowledge enriching event takes place on Sunday 12th November. A historian Dr Miranda Kaufmann will be telling tales about three Africans in the Tudor times. A diver employed by Henry the  8th who had to recover guns from the wreck of The Mary Rose, a Moroccan Woman baptised  in Elizabethan London and a porter who whipped a fellow servant at their masters Gloucestershire manor house. The times are 1pm -4pm and the talk happens at 2:30pm. Its free and no booking is required and all ages can dress up in the afternoon (You can be Henry the 8th minus the 6 wives!)

STAPLEFORD ABBOTS VILLAGE HALL ROMFORD CHRISTMAS MARKET

This event happens Sunday 19th November and it is a Christmas market that will get you feeling festive! The stalls include mouth watering cakes,  jams, pickles and tombola for Adults and Children. There is also a raffle where you can test your luck! The timings are from 10am to 2pm and Adults 1 pound admission, children can go free. Parking is also free.

All these events are fun for family and friends in the cold winter months to bring you a lot of warmth!
