A vast array of delicious chocolate on display in the Bentalls Centre, beautiful blossom trees blooming on every street corner and a shining sun can only mean one thing - yes, it's Easter time in Kingston!

If you can bear to wake from your chocolate induced coma, you'll find plenty to occupy you over the Easter holidays, with events ranging from interactive Easter egg hunts for the whole family to concerts just for you.

If you are looking to treat the kids and enjoy some culture, then head over to the Stanley Picker Gallery, conveniently located at the centre of town, to enjoy a creative and alternative Easter egg hunt inspired by the renowned gallery's latest exhibition.

If they'd rather make some art of their own, why not visit Cass Art in Kingston? The art shop is holding a series of Easter themed classes for kids aged 6-11 teaching traditional techniques of drawing and painting. Cass Art will be covering everything from oil pastel to acrylic art with an Easter spin.

If you are more of a theatre fan, make your way to the Rose this Easter for a performance of The Twits. Described by The Stage as "a deliciously horrid tale told with relish and affection", this Roald Dahl classic will delight the whole family.

Alternatively, leave the kids at home and head out to The Hippodrome for a night out listening to Kiss FM's Dixon Bros this Easter Sunday. You'll be treated to all your favourite hip hop and r'n'b songs courtesy of the South London duo.

Whether you are an art aficionado, a theatre fan or a club connoisseur, an Easter spent in Kingston will cater to your needs.
