Near the bottom of Wallington Highstreet today on the 29th of March an elderly man was seen laying on the pavement at foot of the highstreet. As worried public looked on the emergency services arrived in the form of an ambulance and begin to perform CPR on the man.
While we’re unsure what has happened to the man we know the emergency services were called at around four o’clock and arrived on the scene but were still attempting to resuscitate the man with chest compressions at 4:10. We can infer that the man may have suffered some kind of heart attack or potentially some kind of blow but can only speculate. We can also assume that the man was later taken to hospital for further treatment.
It is a good sign that ambulances could arrive so quickly and due to the heavy foot traffic the man was quickly noticed on the ground and given help and we hope he recovers quickly.
