POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Southall.
At around 5.50pm yesterday, August 11, the 59-year-old, who was a pedestrian, was involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Uxbridge Road at its junction with Parkview Road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification has not yet taken place.
The driver of the vehicle - which was travelling westbound towards Southall - was spoken to at the scene.
