CHINGFORD: Lib Dems select parlimentary candidate
 |
| Dr Geoff Seeff has his eyes set on a Commons seat |
THE Liberal Democrats have selected their prospective parliamentary candidate to fight for the Chingford seat at the next election.
Dr Geoff Seeff will be taking on Iain Duncan Smith who has been the MP for the last 16 years.
He is a chartered accountant practicing as a management consultant and specialises in the economics of urban regeneration.
Dr Seeff said: "Disaffection with Labour grows with each new crisis while the Tories give no clear direction on any of today's big issues.
"Voters are coming to realise that the Lib Dems represent everything these two parties are not, and that they want what we offer; solid principles, sound policies and talented people to implement them."

Congratulations Dr Seeff on your candidature - I hope you succeed in deposing Mr Duncan - Smith, who in the experience of my friends & colleagues, has done remarkably little for his constituency.

Have you ever asked for his help?
Have you ever ignored or your request for help ignored?

A double dose of Mr Khalid? I think the second one has found his spell-check, so I suspect its an imposter. The first is trying to make some sort of point but I can't quite make out what it is. If he emans the Libdems don't have their own police force, that would be the same as the Tories- the current Met Commissioner is a NuLabour man as far as I can tell.

Dr Seeff may be a good candidate, but he's hamstrung by the image the Liberal Democrats have got for themselves in this borough by propping up the discredited New Labour group.
It's harsh on Seeff, because he is not a councillor. But his party is no longer seen as a credible alternative to the Tories and New Labour.

Ha ha ha, the LibDems cannot honestly think that they can unseat IDS with his 19 000+ majority now can they. If nothing else their disgraceful support for the Labour dominated Council has destroyed their electoral chances in Chingford. Shame thoiugh that the Guardian's usual unfair bias towards the LibDems has turned this non event into a news item.

He has two hopes:
Bob Hope
and No Hope.
All thw LibDems are fit for is getting a few litter bins emptied and the odd bit of grafitti cleaned off walls, when it come to big decisions they are pathetically ineffectual.
