Homophobic attack in West Dulwich street


A man suffered serious facial injuries after he was verbally abused and shoved to the ground in a homophobic attack.

The man had just said goodbye to his boyfriend in Birbeck Hill, West Dulwich, about 10.30pm, Saturday, August 21, when three men assaulted him.

He had to be rushed to hospital. Police believe the men may have followed him before carrying out the attack.

The attackers are described as slim, white, aged between 18 and 20, with London accents. One was wearing a striped T-shirt.
