Adding to the medal count, Sutton's own Joanna Roswell and team mates Dani King and Laura Trott take gold in the women's team pursuit.

Three rides. Three world records, and now an Olympic gold medal for Laura Trott, Dani King and Joanna Rowsell. Incredible.

Email your pictures to olympics@london.newsquest.co.uk or send them via Twitter using #LondonersGames and I'll add them to the blog.

Screw loose: Confusion and then relief at the rowing when Zac Purchase's seat comes off at the start of the lightweight double sculls and the referee calls the race back to be
restarted.
The rule is, if anything happens in the first 100m the race can be halted.
It's believed the problem was a broken screw.

Hosking, and partner Kat Copeland, set the fastest qualifying time of 7.05.90 and the pair are insistent they face no pressure.
Copeland said: “We don’t have a title to defend or anything like that. I said to Sophie the worst we can do now is finish sixth – that’s the lowest we can achieve so the only way is up!”
