A driver has appeared in court charged over a hit-and-run that left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
Ihor Dribko, a 25-year-old Ukrainian national, appeared at Feltham Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with dangerous driving, failing to take a breath test and failing to stop, after a crash in Lampton Road, Hounslow.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said a man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to Charing Cross Hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a car, shortly after 7.30pm on Friday.
She said the collision left him with serious leg injuries.
Dribko was remanded in custody to reappear on March 1.
