An armed man ran through Chiswick firing shots on Saturday evening, police have confirmed.
Police were called to Chiswick High Road at about 8.15pm after passersby heard shots being fired.
It is believed two men were sprinting through the street with one man firing shots at the other.
A short while later cops confirmed a 31-year-old man walked through the doors of a London hospital with a gunshot wound to his forearm.
Police are not revealing which hospital the man was treated at but say he was in a stable condition.
The two incidents are being linked by police.
No one has been arrested.
