A post-mortem on the body of Mitcham schoolgirl Tia Sharp has failed to establish her cause of death.

The 12-year-olds body was found in the loft her grandmother’s property in The Lindens, New Addington, last Friday.

A police spokesman said: “We await the results of further tests.”

Stuart Hazell the partner of Tia’s grandmother Christine Sharp has been charged with Tia’s murder.

The 37-year-old will appear at the Old Bailey on November 19.
