Peter Andre adopts pooch from Battersea Dog's and Cat's Home
Peter Andre has adopted a new pooch from Battersea Dog’s and Cat’s Home.
The singer and reality TV star has given a new home to Charlie, a 5-month-old pug whose previous owners moved abroad.
Andre soon spread the word about the newest member of his family on Saturday, by Tweeting "Welcome Charlie Pug. We love him. He is a dude."
Andre has long been associated with the charity, having hosted the annual Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s Collars & Coats gala ball last year, which helped raise vital funds for the charity.
Claire Horton, Battersea’s chief executive said: "Charlie’s really landed on his paws in his new home. Having Peter’s support means so much and we are thrilled he’s able to offer such a fantastic home to a Battersea dog."
