After living in Kingston since she was three, author Jacqueline Wilson has seemingly decided she needs a change of scenery and has bought a house in Bloomsbury.
According to the Evening Standard’s property website, Dame Jacqueline has bought a two-bedroom flat in an Edwardian mansion block for a reported £350,000.
She said: “I’ve always loved the Bloomsbury set and also wanted to experience the excitement of living near the West End with all its restaurants, theatres, films and exhibitions.
“I can’t wait to sample the cakes from the Patisserie Valerie nearby.”
The website reports the best-selling author will keep her Victorian terraced house in Kingston where she stores her 15,000 book library.
