A 17-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious head injuries after two cars collided in Raynes Park last night.

The youth was taken to St George’s Hospital, Tooting, after the collision in Bushey Road at the junction with Grand Drive at 9.40pm.

A London Ambulance spokesman said they sent three ambulances to the scene and three other people were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Fire crews from New Malden and Wimbledon attended the scene but all passengers had been released from the two vehicles, believed to be a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Fiat Punto, by the time they arrived.
