Parents and carers of disabled adults and children are being offered the chance to sit down with Kingston Council and tell them which services they want.
Topics on the table include childcare, after-school activities, short breaks, working with schools, meetings and reviews, accessing the community, play and leisure, and therapies and equipment.
EnhanceAble, a local disability charity, will host a consultation day on behalf of the council and other voluntary sector groups as part of the government’s three year Aiming High for Disabled Children programme.
The consultation day will take place on Saturday, February 7 from 10am to 3pm at Geneva Road Centre, 13 Geneva Road, Kingston.
