Pretty: Surrey has a wealth of wildlife
Bugs and creepy crawlies will come under the microscope at an event coinciding with national insect week.
Join the ecology and entomology section of the London Natural History Society in a walk around Oxshott Heath and Esher Common on Saturday, June 30, to see what you can find.
The Heathland Insects event will look at bees, wasps, beetles, bugs, dragonflies, butterflies and spiders and whatever else they stumble across.
Bring lunch, plenty of drinking water, plus a hand lens and binoculars if you have them.
National Insect Week is a biennial initiative to promote awareness of the value of a diverse insect world to the environment.
