The snowy weather did not put off employers after a free bacon roll and information about apprenticeships.
Brooklands College hosted a special breakfast event to help local employers find out how apprenticeships could benefit their business.
The event, held during National Apprenticeship week, welcomed more than 20 Surrey employers.
Brooklands staff were on hand to talk to businesses about the benefits of employing apprentices and other employers talked about their experiences working with apprentices.
Brooklands College provides apprenticeships in engineering, business administration, construction, hair and beauty, childcare, catering, IT, sport and customer services.
Prime Minister David Cameron said: “By making apprenticeships a gold standard option for ambitious young people, we are sending a message that technical excellence is as highly valued as academic prowess.
“And by focusing investment where it is most needed to deliver sustainable growth and offering real ownership of vocational training to employers, we are equipping businesses with the skills they need to rebalance our economy and distribute.”
