Caravans parked on Weston Green were moved on swiftly thanks to action from police and the council.
Residents reported the flowery homes on Wednesday, February 1, but they left voluntarily the following day.
A police spokesman said: “Neighbourhood team officers and representatives from Elmbridge Council visited the location and engaged with local residents and those on the site.
“There were no reports of any crimes or other incidents taking place in the area and the travellers voluntarily left the area the following day.”
Keith Evetts, of Thames Ditton and Weston Green Residents’ Association, said the swift and determined action by the authorities helped to nip it in the bud.
