Valentines come early to lady worshippers
Cornerstone the Church will celebrate Valentine’s Day two days early when it gives lady worshippers a special gift.
The service starts at 10.30am on February 12 in the Gold Cup Suite at Sandown Park Racecourse.
Sunday, February 5, saw a service with another love theme as senior pastor Chris Demetriou unpacked the truth behind finding a love that never fails.
Contemporary music from the church’s resident band included a special love song just for Valentine’s Day.
Mr Demetriou said: “These days love is often being seen as a temporary, insubstantial thing. But true love is unfailing through life’s ups and downs.
“That’s the type of love God has for us. He also desires this same unconditional love for each of us in our relationships throughout life. It’s the kind of love on which the abundant life God promises is built."
