Police officers were called to a brawl at a Croydon bar on Sunday.

According to a witness people started fighting in the Loop Bar on Church Street.

A police spokesman said: "Police were in attendance outside a bar in Church Street in the early hours of Sunday, June 28.

"Officers dealt with a disturbance outside the bar after staff advised them that a number of people were being ejected from the premises.

"Two men were stopped outside by officers. One man was searched at the scene and one man was taken to a police station where a full search was then carried out. Both searches were negative. No arrests were made."
