Burning mopeds in Plumstead and Forest Hill Burning mopeds in Plumstead and Forest Hill

BURNING mopeds were found abandoned in parks in Plumstead and Sydenham last night.

Five firefighters tackled a flaming vehicle on Plumstead Common after they were called at 5.43 this morning.

A Forest Hill crew was also called to an alight moped in the middle of Sydenham Park at around 1am.

Firefighters believed the mopeds were stolen and then set on fire.
