Man taken to hospital after being hit by bus in Brownhill Road, Catford

A MAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Catford.

Ambulances were called to the accident at Brownhill Road at around 2.45pm today.

Three single responders in cars, an ambulance crew and the air ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Staff treated a man, reported to be in his 30s, for a head injury.

He was taken by ambulance, conscious and breathing, to King's College Hospital.

Parts of the road were closed off by police but were open again by 4pm.

A spokeswoman for the Met Police said the man's injuries were not life threatening. No arrests have been made.
