Dwayne Flugence at Old Bailey accused of murdering Marlon Campbell in Bellingham

A 28-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with murdering Marlon Campbell along with a string of firearms offences.

Mr Campbell, aged 23, was shot in Lushington Road, Bellingham, at around 9.15pm on June 16.

The Lewisham man was rushed to hospital by ambulance but died the following afternoon.

Today (June 27), Dwayne Flugence, of no fixed abode, appeared at the Old Bailey charged with the killing.

Alongside murder, he is also accused of being in possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable another to do so.

He also stands accused of seven other firearms offences.

Flugence was remanded in custody for a plea and case management hearing on September 14 at the Old Bailey.
