POLICE will hold another meeting with the community following the shooting of a 25-year-old man in Forest Hill.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is currently investigating the shooting which has left the man, who it is claimed was armed at the time, in hospital with gunshot wounds.
It follows on from an event on Monday at St George’s Church which was called at the last minute.
The next meeting takes place on Saturday (Feb 25) from 1pm at Kilmorie Primary School, Kilmorie Road.
A Met Police spokesman said: “The purpose of the meeting is for local residents to discuss the incident with the police and to hear directly from them about their concerns.
“Senior officers from Lewisham will be present to take questions.
“The IPCC have also been invited.
“Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about how the case is being handled.”
Anyone with information should call the IPCC on 0800 096 9077 or email foresthill@ipcc.gsi.gov.uk
