A HEART disease charity is seeking donations for its new Lewisham shop.

The British Heart Foundation furniture and electrical store is due to open at Lewisham High Street on November 15.

Managers hope it will be stocked with suites, sofas, chairs, dining sets, beds and wardrobes plus items like televisions, stereos, washing machines, fridges and dishwashers.

There are 130 such stores in the UK, bringing in around £26m annually for the charity.

Area manager Paul Pritchard said: “We need to fill the store with donated goods before we open.

“We’re urging people if they are having a clearout to book a free collection with us – it’s an easy way to support the nation’s heart charity.”

If the items are in good condition, the charity can even arrange a free collection. Call 0844 248 9195 or visit
