CATFORD: Two arrested over shooting of 18-year-old woman


TWO men have been arrested after an 18-year-old girl was shot last night (June 30).

Police were called at around 6.10pm to Pattenden Road, Catford, after a woman was found on the pavement.

It is believed the victim was shot somewhere else nearby.

Paramedics took her to a south London hospital where her condition is described as stable.

Two men, one aged 25, the other of unknown age, were arrested shortly afterwards in connection with the inquiry and are now in custody at a south London police station.

this is terrible how many more will be shot in south east london to many nasty people out there lock em up and throw away the key

I was just putting the bins out when a police car came past with armed police in it. When I turned around I noticed that the top end of Pattenden Road was full of police and ambluances. This is terrible and is the second incident around here since I moved here in May 2009. I can't believe that this happened on the street I live on.
