THREE men were taken to hospital last night after the car they were travelling in hit a parked car and then a lamppost in Orpington.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Andover Road at about 10.40pm and found the driver of the MG ZR and the front seat passenger had managed to get themselves out of the vehicle.

But firefighters had to cut out the backseat passenger, who is believed to be about 25 years old, before he was taken to hospital suffering from neck and back injuries.

The other two people were also taken to hospital with similar injuries.

The firefighters, from Orpington, Bromley and Bexley, were at the scene until around 12.15am.

Andover road is a quiet residential road. I imagine they were speeding.

To all people who have left negative/untrue comments without knowing the true facts. These 3 men are friends of mine. The driver had not been drinking, they were not joy riders, the car was his own and fully insured. Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge people.
