Firefighters have warned drivers about wild animals after a deer was killed by a car in Farnborough.

The collision happened at about 8.30pm yesterday.

A car collided with a deer in Shire Lane. An animal rescue unit was called but the deer had to be put down.

A firefighter spokesman said: "We would encourage drivers to be careful in these areas and should be aware there are wild animals that might appear."
