A YORKSHIRE terrier escaped serious injury after falling from a second floor flat window in Bromley.

Police and a vet were called to the High Street at about 2.10pm on Monday (April 30) to reports of the dog having been thrown or jumped out of a window.

It was examined by a vet after its fall from a flat window above the Tiranga Indian restaurant and it was said to be okay.

There was no-one in the flat at the time of the incident and a Bromley police spokesman says their investigation has concluded the dog scrambled up and fell out of the window on its own.
