A CAR accident in Beckenham caused tailbacks during the rush hour this morning (March 10).
Emergency services were called to Southend Road at around 7.10am after a blue Renault Clio and a black Ford Ka were involved in an accident.
The accident happened at the busy junction of Park Road and a 25-year-old woman, understood to be the driver of the Clio, was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.
Police say she was suffering from neck injuries but her condition was not life threatening.
The London Fire Brigade has revealed the woman may have become trapped in her car following the crash.
