BOUNCY castles have been stolen from a lock-up in Crayford.
Seven of the inflatables were taken from the Lock ‘N’ Store in Optima Park along with other equipment with a total value of around £23,000.
Police were called to the unit at 2.45pm on July 27 and are appealing for information. The padlock had been smashed.
Detective Inspector Steve Goodhew said, “The bouncy castles are very heavy and transport would have been needed to remove them. Did you see anything suspicious?
“Occasionally stolen items turn up at boot sales. Are you going to one this weekend? Keep your eyes peeled.”
Investigating officer, PC Jim Robinson said “Each one is unique and rare with different cartoon characters and pictures on them. If someone has tried to sell you a bouncy castle at a discounted price please contact police immediately.”
If you have any information please call PC Jim Robinson, Bexley Burglary Squad on 020 8284 9117 or to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
