A GRANDMOTHER dared to bare all as she became a naked chef to raise cash for a sick toddler.

Diane Springett, who runs D's Cafe, in Crab Tree Manor Way South, Belvedere, was sponsored to strip naked by customers, family and friends.

The 58-year-old raised more than £800 for three-year-old Billy Wilkins, who was diagnosed with leukemia in October last year.

Money raised will go towards funding a trip for him to Disneyland Paris and the rest will go to ChYps, the children’s service at EllenorLions Hospices.

Mrs Springett said: "I was nervous but it wasn't too bad. It was worth it for the little boy.

"My grandchildren have said they are proud of me."

A fundraising raffle and disco for Billy and the hospice will be held at the Sportsman Club, in Moat Lane, Slade Green, on March 10.
