NEWS Shopper kicks off its search for the cutest child in south-east London and north Kent tomorrow in this year’s Child of the Year competition.
The winners in each category will toddle away with a 14x11inch framed portrait of their picture and a trophy engraved with their name. The overall winner from all of the categories will also win a 20x16inch portrait as well as the accolade of being News Shopper’s Child of the Year 2011.
The contest will be visiting five venues across the News Shopper area, starting at Asda in Crook Log, Bexleyheath tomorrow (February 8) until Saturday (February 11).
After that, Child of the Year will visit Orchards Shopping Centre in Dartford (February 15-18), Asda Charlton Superstore Bugsby Way (February 15-18), Lewisham Shopping Centre (February 21-25) and The Glades in Bromley (February 20-25).
To take part, simply go along with your little one to any of the venues for a free sitting with Fraser Portraits' photography.
One photo of each child will be published on News Shopper’s website where you can vote for the little angel you would like to win.
Last year competition was fierce, with more than 600 entries and thousands of votes being cast to choose the winner.
The contest is open to children aged five years and under and entries will be divided into four age groups – 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-36 months and 3-5 years.
Full competition details can be found in the Child of the Year section of the website
