A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy was airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police said the child in a serious but stable' condition following the incident in Chesham yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened at 3.10pm in Berkhamstead Road near the junction with Sunnyside Farm and involved a black Nissan Note.
He was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
