THREE men have been treated in hospital for stab wounds after being set upon by a gang of youths outside a pub.

The victims - aged between 20 and 22 - had left Chequers Pub, High Street, Barkingside, at around 12.15am on Saturday morning when they got into an argument with a group of teenagers waiting outside.

One man who received injuries to his leg, and another who was wounded in his arm have since returned home from hospital.

A third remains there in a stable condition and is being treated for injuries to his chest and back.

Seven youths - aged between 14 and 16 - have been arrested in connection with this incident and have been bailed to return in late February pending inquiries.
